Falcon Logistics is a transportation and logistics company from Canada. Their level of IT Security was on a pretty decent level, however the physical layer of IT Security in some departments was not implemented fully. As the most critical assets are handling by outside vendors and partners that needs access to their warehouses, ConsultingPress decided to implement fingerprint scanners on every critical point of asset handling.

Fingerprint checks are not new method but are pretty practical and secure when used with some other biometrics procedures. As most critical company assets are placed in warehouses, to which every vendor has access, ConsultingPress implemented fingerprint check in every entrance to warehouses complex and in every warehouse separately including custom ID cards for every vendor employees as a second way of identity check.
